Aloha to all our CSI Honolulu Members!

I wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season as we spend time with our friends and family. Our biggest updates to share this month comes from our PBX Committee.

PBX23 on September 27th 2023 was a major success! The show continues to grow and expand the number of attendees & exhibitors, the quality of the continuing education seminars, and participation by our many fellow construction industry associations including AIA, GCA, and BIA. This year saw a total of 1,300 people in attendance broken down by 450 exhibitors and 750 attendees. All seminars were well attended with many of them standing room only. This year the Pau Hana celebration and industry trivia game was moved out into the beautiful Convention Center Lobby where attendance was the greatest in memory and everyone had a great time catching up and cheering on the teams competing in the Trivia challenge. The team from GCA squeaked out a win for a second year in a row with a nail-biting tie breaker with AIA.

The survey of the attendees and exhibitors after the show showed high marks for the quality of the show. The committee is happy to share that PBX24 will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Hawai’i Convention Center, returning to Exhibit Hall II. As planning gets going in earnest, more details will be shared so you can sign up for a spot on the show floor or join as a sponsor. Please put it on your calendar because you don’t want to miss it!
